There is a shoking problem i once faced...

I am copying movies from my Portabl Segate hard drive to friend's pendrive

My friend asked me to format pendrive before sending some movies in it

I have formatted it, But when i see my 260 gb's collection of movie, it shoked me

Because i have formatted my Portable Hard Disk accidentally.

I feel bad that time. And i tried to recover it from many softwares. Bt I am not able to recover it.

But finally I have recovered that stuff by copying from my firend's computer.

So i have a idea to change that icon so that i don't repeat this type of silly mistake.

And save it as .png format

Now Step To Convert .png Image To Icon

There are two ways to convert image to icon you have two options.

Make icon online by directly Website www.convertico.com

Or download software from www.gamani.com

Once you have converted image to Icon 

It's time to next step to change icon of External Hard Drive

Step 1

Rename icon to icon

Step 2

Then Copy Icon To External Hard Disk (Default name of icon icon.ico)

Step3

Create new Text doc in same drive

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Step 4

Type This Code In Text Doc

[autorun]

icon = .\icon.ico

Save text document in same drive (External Hard Disk) as:

autorun.inf

Step 6

Hide both icons ( icon.ico and autorun.inf )

Step 7

Un plug and plug Hard Disk

Follow These Steps

First Go to the Properties of  Taskbar

Check the check box of option "Auto-hide The Taskbar"

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

After changing the setting. Task bar will automatically hided after changing the setting

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now open Photoshop and take Screenshot by pressing key PrtSc on keyboard

Make new doc in Photoshop And choose Clipboard Default setting

( Don't Change value. Just change Resolution to 720 px )

And press Ctrl+V

Screen will be printed from clipboard

Save file to desired location with .jpeg extension

Open JPEG file with Windows picture viewer

And set up it as Wallpaper.

•Changing Adobe æ After Effects 5.5 Splash Screen

I am going to tell you how to replace default splash screen with your own Edited design.

First design your own template which you want to design in Adobe Photoshop.

With Dimensions

                                                                     Width: 544 px

                                                                     Height: 315 px

                                                                     Resolution: 720 px/in

Save Design Your Desired Location

Save it in .png format

(Note: To preserve transparency delete white background layer before saving image)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

File which you have to edit is located in Adobe After Effects folder In Programs Folder

AfterFXLib.dll

Befor you edit this file (AfterFXLib.dll) Install Resource Hacker

After installing Resource Hacker.

Right click on AfterFXLib.dll and select "Open Using Resource Hacker"

Now Extend PNG String by clicking on + sign

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You will get a Folder named "AE_SPLASH"

Extend "AE_SPLASH" string by clicking on + sign again

After extending "AE_SPLASH" string you will see a yellow icon named "1033"

Right click on "1033" string and choose option "Replace Resource..."

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A new window will appear with "Open File With New Resource..." button.

Click on "Open File With New Resource..." button and select design which you have designed for Splash Screen.

After selecting Customized design

      Fill PNG in Resource Type

                                                 Fill AE_SPLASH in Resource Name

                                                 Fill 1033 in Resource Language

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

After That Go To File Menu And Save It

Note: Before Saving .dll file make backup of it so it can be recovered

If you have edited AfterFXLib.dll by copying it in other location just replace it with original file.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Refresh And Enjoy New And Creative Splash
